On July 18, 2018, on the day of the memory of the Grand Duchess Elizabeth and the nun Varvara, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in the city of London.
His Grace was assisted by the clergy of the Cathedral Archpriest Joseph Skinner, Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh, protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch and deacon Victor Nikiforov.
At the end of the Liturgy, the Most Reverend Vladyka and the clergy sung a prayerful veneration before the ikon of the Holy Martyr Grand Duchess Elizabeth containing a part of her holy relics.
At the end of the service the Most Reverend Archpastor addressed the parishioners, gathered on this memorable day in the churc, whith a sermon and congratulated all thoese having their name day with the feast of their heavenly patronesses.
