On December 5, 2018, on the tenth anniversary of the death of the ever-memorable Patriarch Alexy II, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh served a lithia at the Dormition Cathedral in London.

His Grace was asdisted by Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh.

At the end of the service, Vladyka Matthew addressed the audience with a brief word in memory of the deceased Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church.
