On December 10, 2018, the meeting of the Right Reverend Matthew, Bishop of Sourozh, with Geronda Sacristan Most Reverend Archbishop Isidoros of Hierapolis (Jerusalem Patriarchate), took place at the Dormition Cathedral of the City of London.

In the Cathedral, the Archpastors made a brief prayer before the image of the Most Holy Mother of God Znamenie and discussed questions of pilgrimages to the Holy Land, the situation of Christians in the Middle East, the church situation in Ukraine, various aspects of interaction between the Russian and Jerusalem Orthodox Churches.

The meeting was attended by Priest Dmitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh.
