On October 14, 2018, on the feast of the Protective Veil of the Most Holy Mother of God, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the Diocesan community of St. Tikhon, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, in the town of Castlebar, Republic of Ireland.

The service was led by community Priest Ioann Kazadoev. After the Liturgy, the meeting with parishioners was held under the chairmanship of Father Ioann, at which prospects for the development of church life in Castlebar were discussed. 

At the meeting, candidates for assistants in economic and financial affairs were reviewed and approved by the rector. They became Lilia Luzan and Alexander Kuznetsov.

Among the issues discussed at the meeting were plans for talks with cathecumens and parish pilgrimage.

After the meeting, Father Ioann met with children of the Sunday school "Candle of Grace" and told them about the history of the Feast of the Protective Veil of the Most Holy Mother of God.
