On September 30, 2018, on the 18th Sunday after Pentecost, after feast of the Elevation of the Cross of the Lord, the day of the memory of the martyrs of Vera, Nadezhda, Lyubov and their mother Sophia, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by the clergy of the cathedral: Archpriest Joseph Skinner, Dean of the Diocesan District of Southwest England, protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch and deacon Victor Nikiforov.
Liturgical chants were sung by the choir of the Cathedral under the direction of Marina Bezmenova.
The sermon after the Gospel reading was delivered by Archpriest Joseph Skinner.
