Archpriest John Lee, a close friend and disciple of the ever-memorable Metropolitan Anthony (Bloom), peacefully departed this life on the evening of 18th June. He had been Vladyka Anthony's confessor during the last years of his life.

Father John was Dean of the Cathedral from 2004 to 2006. On 19th June, the 100th anniversary of the birth of Metropolitan Anthony, a panikhida was served at the Cathedral after the Divine Liturgy, at which Father John was commemorated together with his spiritual mentor.
