« Archbishop Elisey visited the St Elisabeth Bishop's Metochion »

On the 9th of February, Archbishop Elisey of Sourozh headed the Divine Liturgy for the Feast of the Holy New Martyrs and Confessors of the Russian Church at the St Elisabeth Bishop's Metochion, Bodiam.
Vladyka gave to the parish portions of the relics of the Venerable Martyrs Grand Duchess Elizabeth and Nun Barbara which had been offered as a blessing and support for the St. Elisabeth Metochion by the Rector of the Cathedral of the New Martyrs and Confessors of Russia in Munich, Archbishop Mark of Berlin, Germany and Great Britain Mark (ROCOR). After the liturgy, a moleben was celebrated before the holy relics and also a litya for all the victims of the persecutions by the godless regime.
Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Archpriest Mikhail Dudko and Protodeacon Dimitri Nedostupenko, clergymen of the London Dromition Cathedral, concelbrated with Archbishop Elisey. Mr AM Kramarenko, a diplomatic adviser at the Russian Embassy in the UK, and a number of pilgrims from other parishes in the diocese, prayed at the service.
After the service, everyone was invited to a celebratory meal.
