« Archbishop Elisey met with the young parishioners of the Cathedral »

On January 10th, after Vespers and the Akathist to St Nicholas, which was led by Archbishop Elisey of Sourozh, there was a meeting between the Archbishop and the young people of the London Dormition Cathedral. The Head of the Diocesan Department for Youth Work, Archpriest Stephen Platt, and Archpriest Maxim Mitrofanov also took part in the meeting.
Vladyka Elisey emphasised the importance of the active participation of young people in the life of the Diocese of Sourozh and indicated the main outlinces of the work of the diocesan Youth Department. During the lively discussion that ensued, the participants of the meeting shared their experinces and impressions and expressed the the desire to serve for the good of the Church and of their neighbours.
The meeting took place in a friendly and festive atmosphere which was helped by the youth choir, which sang some traditional Christmas carols.
