On 8th May, 3rd Sunday of the Myrrр-bearing women, Archbishop Elisey of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Patriarchal Parish of the Protecting Veil of the Mother of God in Manchester. The Liturgy ended with the Paschal Procession around the church.
At the festive meal after the service, Vladyka Elisey greeted the women with the feast day which is special for all Orthodox women and greeted everyone with the Victory Day.
On the same day, Archbishop Elisey presided at the meeting of the Parish Council of the Patriarchal Church of the Protecting Veil in Manchester. The Parish Council discussed current issues and made administrative decisions about running the parish.
