« The Parish in Manchester celebrated its Patronal Feast »

On Sunday 16th October, Archbishop Elisey presided at the celebration of the Patronal feast in the Stavropegic Parish of the Protecting Veil of the Mother of God in Manchester. Archpriest Gennady Andreev, Deputy Dean of the Parish, and Archdeacon Dmitry Nedostupenko, cleric of the Cathedral of the Dormition of the Mother of God in London, took part in the Divine Liturgy. There was a festive Procession around the church after the service. At the meal following the Liturgy Vladyka, as the Dean of the Parish, greeted the congregation with the feast and marked the grown activity of the parish after it had been consecrated six months ago.
