On 17th June, Metropolitan John of Western and Central Europe (Antiochian Orthodox Church) visited the Cathedral of the Dormition in London.

Vladyka John was welcomed by Archbishop Elisey of Sourozh and clergy of the Cathedral. Metropolitan John lit a candle in frot of the Icon of All Saints who shone forth in the Land of Britain and Ireland and venerated the altar of the Cathedral.

Archbishop Elisey gave a dinner in honour of the guest. The issues discussed during the dinner concerned the problems of the Orthodox Church in Western Europe.
