On April 5-6, 2025, on the 5th Sunday of Great Lent, all-night vigils and Divine Liturgies were held in the parishes of the Sourozh Diocese in Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland, dedicated to the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the repose of St. Tikhon, Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus' (+7.04.1925).

His Holiness Patriarch Tikhon departed to the Lord on the day of the feast of the Annunciation of the Most Holy Mother of God, April 7, 1925.

At the meeting of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church on October 13, 2022 (journal no. 106), due to the coincidence of the day of his death with the feast of the Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos, it was decided to hold festive services to Saint Tikhon on March 24 / April 6, 2025, and on this day, in all churches of the Russian Orthodox Church, to celebrate polyeleos services to Saint Tikhon.

After the completion of the divine services, the Address of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill in connection with the 100th anniversary of the death of Saint Tikhon was read out in the parishes of the diocese.
