« Open lessons dedicated to the memory of St. Tikhon, Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus', were held at the parish school of the Dormition Cathedral in London »

Pupils from the junior classes learned in detail about the main stages of St. Tikhon's ministry in North America, during his tenure as Bishop of the Aleutians and North America (1898-1907). The children prepared drawings of North American nature, together with teachers they created a model installation with wild animals of the Arctic, and took part in the outdoor games of the peoples of the north. The children marked the missionary journeys of St. Tikhon on a special outline map and marked the places where the first Orthodox parishes were founded in the New World.
In the senior classes, the students gave reports on the life of St. Tikhon. The reports included the main facts of the saint's biography, a description of his archpastoral labours in the pre-revolutionary period and his primatial service after his election as Patriarch of All Russia.
On April 6, 2025, students, parents and teachers of the parish school took part in the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London, prayerfully joining the entire Russian Orthodox Church, which is celebrating on this day the 100th anniversary of the repose of St. Tikhon, Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus'.
