On the evening of March 6, 2025, Thursday of the first week of Great Lent, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated Great Compline with the reading of the Great Penitential Canon of St. Andrew of Crete in the Dormition Cathedral in London.Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Dean of the Diocesan District of South-East England Archpriest Vitaly Polischuk, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Archpriest Nikita Kozlov and Priest Alexander Kapustin took part in the divine service.
The liturgical hymns were performed by the choir of the Dormition Cathedral under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.
After the end of the compline, Archpriest Vitaly Polischuk delivered a sermon. Simultaneous translation into English was provided by Alexander Selegenev.
