His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Vitaly Polischuk, Dean of the Diocesan District of South East England, Archpriest Dmitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh, Archpriest Nikita Kozlov, Priest Vasily Gandzyuk, Priest Alexander Kapustin, Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch, and Protodeacon Ioan Sîlnic.
The liturgical chants were performed by the choir of the Dormition Cathedral under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.
After the litany of fervent supplication, Bishop Matthew proclaimed a prayer for the granting of peace.
After the communion service, Bishop Matthew and the concelebrating clergy venerated the Cross of the Lord.
At the end of the divine service, the Right Reverend Archpastor addressed those present with words of sermon and spiritual edification. Simultaneous translation into English was provided by Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
In recognition of his work for the good of the Holy Church and in connection with his 60th birthday and 20th anniversary of service in the holy order, Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch, a cleric of the Dormition Cathedral in London, was awarded a high Patriarchal award - the Order of the Russian Orthodox Church of St. Seraphim of Sarov, 3rd degree.
Bishop Matthew warmly congratulated the church employee S. B. Kondratieva on her birthday and presented her with a bouquet of flowers.
