Christmas Message of the Patriarchal Exarch of Western Europe, Metropolitan Nestor of Korsun and Western Europe

Beloved in the Lord fellow brothers archpastors and pastors, brothers and sisters!

On this holy Christmas night, I would like to greet each of you in the most cordial way, congratulate, encourage and thank you. Yes, especially on this night, when we all, in the spirit and prayerfully, stand before the great mystery of the Incarnation of God the Word, when we remember and relive the coming into this world of Christ, our Savior.

In every parish of our church domain, in different countries, in cities, towns and villages, in monastic communities, people have gathered today, and joy and hope are reflected on everyone's faces.

The joy that Christ came into the world and believed in us before we believed in Him, loved us before we responded to His love.

The hope that if God is with us, then everything can be corrected and turned to good, that on earth, as well as in our hearts, a lasting and inalienable peace will surely reign.

And let us not be like anyone today, let us have the courage to be ourselves and come to Christ as we really are.

And may Christ help us, each one in the place of his ministry and life - Clergymen, monastics, matushkas, singers, those who decorate churches, take care of festive meals, ktitors, parish activists, our youth, especially those who work with children, teach them and rejoice in their joy, all those who do good for the sake of Christ and support each other.

After all, if we are able to do something good, it is because Christ is born and lives in each of us.

Merry Christmas to all of you, my dear!

+NESTOR,

Metropolitan of Korsun and Western Europe,

Patriarchal Exarch of Western Europe
