On the evening of January 13, 2025, on the eve of the feast of the Circumcision of the Lord, and the feast of St. Basil the Great, Archbishop of Caesarea in Cappadocia (379), His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the all-night vigil at the Dormition Cathedral in London.His Grace was assisted by Dean of the Diocesan District of South East England Archpriest Vitaly Polischuk, Secretary of the Sourozh Diocese Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Archpriest Nikita Kozlov, Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch and Deacon Alexander Kapustin.
The liturgical hymns were performed by the choir of the Dormition Cathedral under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.
During the vespers, the Right Reverend Archpastor performed the litiya with the blessing of five loaves of bread, wine and oil.
At the matins, after the reading of the Gospel, Bishop Matthew anointed the clergy and worshipers with consecrated oil.
