On the evening of July 11, on the eve of the day of remembrance of the glorious and all-praised chief Apostles Peter and Paul, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated an all-night vigil at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
Concelebrating with His Grace were Dean of the diocesan district of South-East England, Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Dean of the diocesan district of South-West England, Archpriest Joseph Skinner, Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch and Deacon Alexander Kapustin.
Church hymns were performed by the cathedral choir under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.
During the evening service, Vladyka Matthew served a litia with the blessing of five loaves of bread, wine and oil. During Matins, after reading the Gospel, His Grace Vladyka anointed the clergy and parishioners of the Cathedral with consecrated oil.
