« A new clergyman of the Sourozh diocese has been ordained to the rank of deacon »

On April 28, 2024, on the 6th Sunday of Great Lent, Palm Sunday, the feast of the Entry of the Lord into Jerusalem, at the Divine Liturgy in the Dormition Cathedral in London, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh ordained the altar server of the Cathedral, Alexander Kapustin, to the rank of deacon.

During his liturgical practice, Father Alexander will serve as a deacon at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
