On February 4, 2024, on the feast of the Synaxis of New Martyrs and Confessors of the Russian Church, with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus', His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal parishes in the USA and Canada, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Bogorodskoye, Moscow.
His Grace was assisted by the Rector, Archpriest Damian Kruglik, and the clergy of the church.

After the prayer behind the ambo, a panikhida was served for the newly departed Archbishop Anatoly (Kuznetsov).

Following the panikhida, Rector of the church, Archpriest Damian Kruglik, addressed His Grace Archpastor with a welcoming speech. In memory of the visit, Father Damian presented His Eminence with the icon of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker.

In conclusion, Bishop Matthew warmly thanked Fr. Damian, the clergy and parishioners for the joint celebration of the Liturgy and hospitality, and addressed them with words of sermon and spiritual edification.
