On November 29, 2024, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh met with Hieromonk Porphyrios (Plant), Dean of the English parishes of the Archdiocese of Western European Parishes of the Russian Tradition.

During the meeting, issues were discussed concerning the development of relations between the Diocese of Sourozh and the parishes of the Archdiocese in the British Isles, and prospects for the further development of various areas of church life of mutual interest.
