November 15, 2024 marked the 9th anniversary of the episcopal consecration of His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, temporarily Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA and Canada.

Vladyka Matthew celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the episcopal metochion in honour of the Holy Martyr Grand Duchess Elizabeth Feodorovna in Roks Farm near Bodiam, East Sussex.

At the entrance to the house church, the elder sister of the metochion, Nun Martha (Persianinova), greeted the Right Reverend Archpastor with a bouquet of flowers.

His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Archpriest Vitaly Polischuk, Dean of the Diocesan District of South East England, Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh, Priest Sergiy Fedorenko and Deacon Alexander Kapustin.

The liturgical hymns were performed by the choir of the metochion under the direction of M.V. Bezmenova-Nikolau.

After the prayer after the communion, His Grace and the clergy sang a glorification in front of the icon of the Synaxis of the Holy Unmercenary Doctors and Healers.

The sermon after the dismissal was delivered by Archpriest Vitaly Polischuk.

The Archpastor warmly congratulated nun Martha with her birthday.

In conclusion, all those present were offered a meal.
