On October 11, 2024, while on an archpastoral visit to the diocesan district of Northern England, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh visited the family of a cleric of the Sourozh diocese, Priest Anatoly Vikhrov, who lives in Leeds.

During the meeting, Bishop Matthew discussed current issues of church and parish life in four parishes cared for by Father Anatoly and consecrated a house chapel in honour of Saint Spyridon the Wonderworker, Bishop of Tremithus, which had been built through the efforts of the priest's family.
