On August 1, 2023, on the feast of the uncovering of the relics of St. Seraphim (1903), the Wonderworker of Sarov, at the end of the Divine Liturgy at the St. Seraphim Children's Orthodox Summer Camp of the Diocese of Sourozh, in consideration of the labours for the good of the Holy Church and in connection with the 25th anniversary of service in Holy Order, Archpriest Platt, Dean of the Diocesan District of Central England, Rector of the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in Oxford, was awarded the Patriarchal award - Order of the Russian Orthodox Church of St. Seraphim of Sarov, III degree.The high award was presented by His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh.
