« Election of a new Diocesan Council of the Diocese of Sourozh »

On April 1, 2023, after the Divine Liturgy, the Diocesan Assembly of the Diocese of Sourozh was held at the Intercession Church in Manchester.

At the meeting, the new composition of the Diocesan Council was approved by vote.  According to the Charter, half of the Diocesan Council is appointed by the diocesan bishop, and half is elected by the Diocesan Assembly for a term of 3 years.

The new Diocesan Council, chaired by His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, includes:

- Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh, Dean of the Diocesan District of Northern England and Wales;

- Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Dean of the Diocesan District of South East England;

- Archpriest Mikhail Nasonov, Dean of the Diocesan District of the Republic of Ireland;

- Archpriest Stephen Platt, Dean of the Diocesan District of Central England.
