According to the church charter, the service in honor of the 40 martyrs, who suffered in the Senaste Lake, is postponed to Tuesday, March 8 (21).
His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Dean of the Diocesan District of South East England Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Dean of the Diocesan District of East England Archpriest Raphael Armour, Dean of the Diocesan District of Central England Archpriest Stephen Platt, Dean of the Diocesan District of the Republic of Ireland Archpriest Mikhail Nasonov, Dean of the Diocesan District of South - West of England Archpriest Joseph Skinner, Priest Vasily Gandzyuk, Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch and Deacon Victor Nikiforov.
Liturgical hymns were performed by the choir of the Dormition Cathedral under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.
After the augmented litany, the Archpastor proclaimed a prayer for the granting of peace.
At the Liturgy, His Grace Archpastor ordained Subdeacon Cosmin Frateanu to the diaconate.
After the dismissal of the Divine Liturgy, His Grace Vladyka addressed the worshipers with a word of spiritual edification.
In conclusion, Bishop Matthew, in commemoration of the diligent work for the good of the Russian Orthodox Church and in connection with the 20th anniversary of his priestly service, awarded Archpriest Raphael Armour, Dean of the Diocesan District of East Anglia, with a high Patriarchal award - Order of St. Sergius of Radonezh 3rd class.
