On March 12, 2023, on the 2nd Sunday of Great Lent, of St. Gregory Palamas, Archbishop of Thessaloniki, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.

His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Dean of the Diocesan District of South East England Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Priest Vasily Gandzyuk, and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.

Liturgical hymns were performed by the choir of the Dormition Cathedral under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.

After the augmented litany, the Archpastor proclaimed a prayer for the granting of peace.

After the dismissal of the Divine Liturgy, the Archpastor addressed the worshipers with a word of spiritual edification.  Vladyka Matthew warmly congratulated Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk on the recent anniversary of his priestly consecration and presented Father Vitaly with a holy prosphora and a bouquet of flowers.
