On February 26, 2023, Cheesefare Week, remembrance of Adam's exile, Forgiveness Sunday, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Dean of the Diocesan District of South East England, Archpriest Adrian Michalaki, Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh, and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
Liturgical hymns were performed by the choir of the Dormition Cathedral under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.
After the augmented litany, the Archpastor proclaimed a prayer for the granting of peace.
At the end of the divine service, Vladyka Matthew addressed those present with a word of sermon and spiritual edification. The Archpastor warmly congratulated Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko on his recently celebrated Name Day and presented him with a holy prosphora and a bouquet of flowers.
