On February 9, 2023, the celebration of the transfer of the relics of St. John Chrysostom (438), His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh prayed at the altar during the celebration of the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.

The divine service was officiated by Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Sourozh diocese, Deputy Dean of the Cathedral. Liturgical chants were performed by the chamber choir conducted by Dmitry Tugarinov. At the end of the service, the Archpastor addressed those present with words of spiritual edification. His Grace Vladyka warmly congratulated Archpriest Dimitry on his birthday and presented him with a holy prosphora and a bouquet of flowers. In turn, Father Dimitry thanked Vladyka Matthew for the joy of joint prayer, fatherly love and sincere concern for the clergy and flock of the Sourozh diocese.
