« On the feast of the Nativity of Christ, a late festive Liturgy was celebrated at the Dormition Cathedral »

On January 7, 2023, on the feast of the Nativity of Christ, a late Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
The divine service was officiated by Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Dean of the Diocesan District of South East England, assisted by Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky.
At the Liturgy, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh prayed in the altar of the church.
Liturgical hymns were performed by the choir of the Cathedral under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.
Following the communion verse, Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky and Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko read out, in English and Russian, the Christmas message of Metropolitan Nestor of Korsun and Western Europe, Patriarchal Exarch of Western Europe.
At the end of the Liturgy, the glorification of the feast was sung, after which the Archpastor addressed the clergy and parishioners with words of sermon and festive congratulations.
The divine service was broadcast live on the Diocese of Sourozh "Life of Sourozh" page on the social network Facebook.
