On the evening of January 6, 2023, on the eve of the feast of the Nativity of Christ, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated all-night vigil at the Dormition Cathedral in London.His Eminence was assisted by Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Dean of the Diocesan District of South East England, Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh, and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch. Liturgical chants were performed by the choir of the Cathedral under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.
At Matins, after reading the Holy Gospel, the Right Reverend Archpastor anointed the clergy and believers with consecrated oil.
