On Saturday, January 14, 2023, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh took part in the Christmas Tree party of the parish school at the Dormition Cathedral in London.A theatrical performance based on the fairy tale "The Nutcracker and the Mice King" by E.T.A. Hoffman, as well as carols and Christmas chants were performed for the students, parents, teachers and guests gathered for the Christmas party by the junior and senior choir groups of the school students under the direction of M.V. Bezmenova.
At the end of the party, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh addressed those present with a speech and Christmas greetings, noted the fruitful work of the school teachers and wisher director E.N. Poplavskaya, teachers and students God's help in gaining knowledge and developing creative talents in the coming year 2023.
Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, spiritual Father of the school, and Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh, also took part in the festive event. At the end of the party, all children received Christmas gifts from Vladyka Matthew.
