On September 18, 2022, on the 14th Sunday after Pentecost, memory of the holy prophet Zechariah and the righteous Elizabeth, parents of St. John the Baptist (I), His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal parishes in the USA and Canada, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Bogorodskoe, Moscow.His Eminence was assisted by Archpriest Damian Kruglik and the clergy of the church. The divine service was celebrated by the hierarchal rank.
After the dismissal of the Liturgy, His Grace the Archpastor addressed the clergy and parishioners with words of sermon and spiritual edification.
