On August 19, 2022, on the feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, Temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA and Canada, headed the patronal celebration at the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Bogorodskoye, Moscow.

His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Damian Kruglik, Rector of the Church, Archpriest Sergiy Subbotin, Protodeacon Valery Shcheglov, and Deacon Sergiy Kuznetsov.

After the dismissal of the Divine Liturgy, a procession with prayer singing took place, after which Vladyka Matthew consecrated the fruits of the new harvest.

Then the Right Reverend Archpastor congratulated everyone on the patronal feast and delivered a word of sermon and spiritual edification.
