On July 16, 2022, on the feast day of St. Basil, Bishop of Ryazan, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, Temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA and Canada, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Bogorodskoye, Moscow.
His Grace was assisted by priest Mikhail Volkov. The divine service was celebrated by the priestly rank.
After the dismissal of the Liturgy, His Grace Vladyka served a panikhida for Hegumen Seraphim (Sergeev).
In the words of spiritual edification addressed to the clergy and parishioners, Vladyka noted the pious life path and pastoral ministry of Father Seraphim, whose death anniversary is celebrated on this day.
