On June 19, 2022, on the 108th anniversary of the birth of the ever-memorable founder of the Diocese of Sourozh, Metropolitan Anthony (Bloom), with the blessing of His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, a panikhida was served at the resting place of Vladyka Anthony at the Old Brompton Cemetery in London.
The service was led by archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh, co-served by archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, priest Vasily Gandzyuk and protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
Funeral chants were performed by the choristers of the Dormition Cathedral in London under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov, the choir master.
Spiritual children and admirers of Metropolitan Anthony prayed at the panikhida.
After the panikhida, archpriest Dimitry laid flowers on the grave of Metropolitan Anthony and addressed those present with a sermon, especially noting the invaluable missionary work of the ever-memorable Vladyka Anthony and his many years of contribution to the Gospel preaching around the world. Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky has also shared his memory of the veneration of Metropolitan Anthony.
