On June 1, 2022, on the feast day of the Leave of Easter, the fore-feast of the Ascension of the Lord, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA and Canada, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Bogorodskoye, Moscow.His Eminence was assisted by archpriest Damian Kruglik and the clergy of the church.
The service was celebrated according to the Paschal rite.
At the end of the Liturgy, Vladyka Matthew congratulated those gathered wirh the Leave of the bright feast of Pascha, greeted the partakers of the Holy Mysteries of Christ, and addressed the worshipers with words of sermon and spiritual edification.
