On April 29, 2022, Friday of Bright Week, the feast of the icon of the Mother of God "The Life-Giving Spring", His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, temporarily Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the United States and Canada, officiated Matins, Divine Liturgy, a water-blessed molenen and a procession at the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Bogorodskoe, Moscow.
His Grace was assisted by priest Mikhail Volkov and deacon Sergiy Kuznetsov.
At the end of the Liturgy, His Grace Vladyka served a moleben for the blessing of water and headed the procession around the church.
In conclusion, Vladyka Matthew addressed the clergy and parishioners with words of sermon and spiritual edification.
