On May 8, 2022, on the 3rd Sunday after Pascha, of the Holy Myrrh-bearing Women, Righteous Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus, on the eve of the 77th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA and Canada, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Bogorodskoye, Moscow.
His Grace was assisted by the church Rector, archpriest Damian Kruglik, and the clergy of the church.
At the end of the divine service, Vladyka Matthew addressed the clergy and parishioners with a sermon on the theme of the feast of the Myrrh-Bearing Women and gave everyone his archpastoral blessing.
