On April 17, 2022, on the 6th Sunday of Great Lent, Palm Sunday, the feast of the Lord's Entry into Jerusalem, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA and Canada, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Bogorodskoye, Moscow.
His Grace was assisted by archpriest Damian Kruglik, priest Mikhail Volkov and deacon Sergiy Kuznetsov.
According to the website of the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Bogorodskoye, at the end of the Liturgy, a glorification was sung in front of the icon of the feast with singing of magnificence, and then everyone and their willow branches were sprinkled with holy water.
