« A cleric of the Diocese of Sourozh took part in the International Round Table "The Russian Orthodox Church in Scandinavia and the countries of Northern Europe" »

On November 1, 2022, the International Round Table "The Russian Orthodox Church in Scandinavia and the countries of Northern Europe" was held, with the support of the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo), at the Russian House in Denmark.

Representatives of Rossotrudnichestvo, clergymen from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland and Ireland took part in the remote meeting. The round table was headed by Archpriest Nikolai Lishchenyuk, Deputy Chairman of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate.

With the blessing of His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, Archpriest Mikhail Nasonov, Dean of the diocesan district of the Republic of Ireland, Rector of St. Peter and St.Paul Church in Dublin, participated in the round table representing the Diocese of Sourozhe. At the meeting, the pressing problems of church and parish life were discussed, the clergy answered questions from the audience gathered in the Russian House in Copenhagen.
