On October 23, 2022, on the 19th Sunday after Pentecost, memory of the Holy Fathers of the VII Ecumenical Council (787) and St. Ambrose of Optina (1891), His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, temporarily Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA and Canada, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord  in Bogorodskoye, Moscow.
His Eminence was assisted by Archpriest Damian Kruglik, Priest Mikhail Volkov, and Deacon Sergiy Kuznetsov.  The divine service was celebrated by the hierarchal rank.
At the conclusion of the Liturgy, His Grace and the concelebrating clergy sung a prayerful glorification in front of the image of St. Ambrose of Optina.  After that, the Archpastor addressed the audience with a word of spiritual edification.
