On October 13, 2022, on the eve of the Feast of the Intercession of the Most Holy Mother of God, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA and Canada, celebrated an all-night vigil at the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Bogorodskoye, Moscow.His Grace was assisted by the church Rector, Archpriest Damian Kruglik, and the clergy of the church.
At Vespers, at the litia, the Right Reverend Archpastor consecrated bread, wheat, wine, and oil.
At Matins, after reading the Holy Gospel, Vladyka Matthew anointed the clergy and believers with consecrated oil.
