On the night of May 1-2, 2021, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated Easter services at the Dormition Cathedral in London - Midnight Office, Easter Matins and Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom.
His Grace was assisted by archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Sourozh diocese, priest Nil Lyubchenko and protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
The liturgical hymns were performed by the quartet under the direction of the choir director Dmitry Tugarinov.
Following the verse read after the Holy Communion, Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch read out the Easter Epistle of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill to the archpastors, pastors, monastics and all the faithful children of the Russian Orthodox Church.
At the end of the service, Vladyka Matthew blessed the artos and congratulated the faithful with the Holy Easter.
The service was broadcast live on the diocesan page Life of Sourozh on the social network Facebook.
