« The choir of the Dormition Cathedral in London won the Grand Prix of the "Christmas Carol" competition »

The famous Christmas carol "Heaven and Earth" was presented for the competition. Alexey Larin's author's presentation is remarkable not only for the skillful use of soloists and ensemble sound in the score, but also for the colourful interspersed percussion instruments that set the listener in a festive mood from the very beginning of the piece. It is gratifying that the London Cathedral choir has mastered all the nuances of musical presentation. It is worth noting that the recording was performed in a "virtual choir" format due to restrictions imposed on performing activities by the UK government due to the difficult epidemiological situation in the country.
More than two hundred church and secular groups from Russia, Belarus, Great Britain, France, Lebanon, Moldova and Kazakhstan took part in the Christmas Carol festival in 2021 in different nominations and categories.
