On February 6, 2021, the feast day of Saint Blessed Xenia of St. Petersburg (XIX c.), His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by the Secretary of the Sourozh Diocese, Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
The divine service was attended by parishioners over 70 years old and those included, according to state rules, in the moderate risk - clinically vulnerable, who prayed and received the Holy Mysteries of Christ.
At the end of the Liturgy, Vladyka Matthew congratulated the parishioners bearing the name of Xenia with their Angel Day and addressed those present with words of a sermon and spiritual edification.
The service was broadcast live on the diocesan page Life of Sourozh on the social network Facebook.
