On February 15, 2021, on the feast of the Meeting of the Lord God and Our Savior Jesus Christ, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.His Grace was assisted by the Secretary of the Sourozh Diocese, Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
The liturgical hymns were sung by the quartet under the direction of the choir director Dmitry Tugarinov.
On the feast of the Meeting of the Lord, the Day of Orthodox Youth is traditionally celebrated. In connection with this event, following the after-Communion verse, priest Dimitry and Protodeacon Vadim announced the message of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moskow and All Russia. The text of the message was read out in Russian and English.
Following the Liturgy, the Right Reverend Archpastor congratulated the parishioners with the feast of the Meeting of the Lord and addressed those present with words of a sermon and spiritual edification.
