« Christmas divine services were celebrated at the Dormition Cathedral in London »

On Christmas Night from 6 to 7 January 2021, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by the Cathedral's cleric, Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.  The liturgical hymns were  sung by the quartet under the direction of the choir director Dmitry Tugarinov.
After the Holy sacrament verse, the Christmas message of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia was read.
Following the prayer before the ambo, His Grace Vladyka headed the rite of glorifying the feast of the Nativity of Christ, congratulated the parishioners of the Cathedral with the feast, and addressed the believers with words of a sermon and spiritual edification.
On the morning of January 7, a late festive Liturgy was celebrated at the Dormition Cathedral.  The divine service was celebrated by Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Sourozh diocese.
The liturgical chants were sung by the quartet under the direction of the choir director Dmitry Tugarinov.
After the sacrament verse, the Nativity  message of the Patriarchal Exarch of Western Europe, Metropolitan Anthony of Korsun and Western Europe, was read.
At the end of the Liturgy, Father Dimitri  celebrated the glorification to the feast of the Nativity of Christ and addressed those present with a sermon on the theme of the feast of the Nativity of Christ.
Both divine services were broadcast live on the diocesan page Life of Sourozh on the social network Facebook.
