On January 19, 2021, on the feast of the Holy Epiphany - the Baptism of our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, festive services were celebrated at the Dormition Cathedral in London.On the night of January 18-19, Divine Liturgy was celebrated by Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Sourozh Diocese.
After the prayer before the ambo, the rite of the great blessing of water and prayer glorification in front of the icon of the Baptism of the Lord were served, then Father Dimitry addressed the parishioners with a sermon on the theme of the great church feast.
On the morning of January 19, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the late Divine Liturgy, assisted by Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
The liturgical hymns were sung by the quartet under the direction of the choir director Dmitry Tugarinov.
At the end of the Liturgy, His Grace Vladyka conducted the great consecration of the water and glorification of the feast of the Epiphany of the Lord.
Then the Archpastor congratulated the parishioners of the Cathedral with the feast and addressed them with words of a sermon and spiritual edification.
