« Christmas service was celebrated at the parish of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Portsmouth »

On January 10, 2021, Sunday after the Nativity of Christ, the day of remembrance of the righteous Joseph the Betrothed, David the King and James, the brother of the Lord, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the parish of the Holy Chief Apostles Peter and Paul in the city of Portsmouth.
The festive service was celebrated by Archpriest Joseph Skinner, Dean of the Diocesan District of the South-West of England, assisted by Deacon Viktor Nikiforov.
At the end of the Liturgy, Father Joseph warmly congratulated the parishioners gathered for the Liturgy and addressed them with words of a sermon.
In turn, congratulatory speeches were made in honour of Father Joseph, who is celebrating his Angel day on this date, and a bouquet of flowers was presented to him from the parishioners, along with the wishes of many years of health.
During the preparation and conduct of the service, state rules were followed to combat coronavirus infection.
The next Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on February 14, 2021, according to the parish website.
